LOGO DESIGN
CONTEST UPDATE
June 2001 |
| The BBWEF trustees were pleased
at the number of entrants to the logo contest and the creativity exhibited in the designs.
Because some individuals submitted several entries, over 40 designs were submitted
in total. Judging the entries was difficult. While a number of the logo design
entries were promising, the judges felt that modification of some of the designs would be
required before any of the designs could be brought to the full board for a decision on
the logo and the contest winner or winners. Consequently, it was not possible to
announce or unveil the new logo at the Barnegat Bay Festival on June 9, as was originally
hoped. Contest entrants whose designs were selected as "finalists" will be
contacted, if they have not already been contacted. |

the Barnegat Bay Estuary Program (visible at http://www.bbep.org)

at various sizes (letterhead, posters, billboards)
must be free of "details", but eye-catching and able to

by the BBWEF. The BBWEF reserves the rights to not select any of the submitted entries as
the winner, to split the prize among more than one entrant, and to not use any of the

for prizes. |
